If
a student is accused of misconduct, he/she is entitled to hear or receive a
written notice of the allegations against him/her.The student is also entitled to present his/her side of the
matter.Students, who are assigned
disciplinary action, have the right to appeal the decision.To do so, the student or parents must:
Submit a request for
an informal conference with the principal, within three days, to discuss
the grievance.
If the grievance
remains unresolved, the student or parent may request a hearing from the
superintendent.
If the grievance is
still unresolved, the student or parents may take the case to the school
board.
