Families,
Free Immunization Clinic
To honor National Health Center Week, Sea Mar Community
Health Center will be offering a free immunization clinic
for children aged 0 to 18 years-old. Children should have
their current immunization records with them.
The clinic will be held on
Wednesday, August 13, from noon to 6 pm. the clinic address
is 1813 Sumner Avenue in Aberdeen. Please use the door
marked 1813. If you have any questions, please call Shellie
at 537-4205.
End of the Year Events
The end of the school year is always filled with fun
events for students and families. Parents are welcome to
attend any of the following events if they can:
Tuesday, June 24 - 10 am - Awards
Assembly
Wednesday, June 25 - 12 pm - Field
Day
Wednesday, June 25 - 6 pm -
Preschool Celebration
Friday - June 27 - 6th Grade Honor
Assembly - 9 am - Gym
Friday - June 27 - Last Day of
School - Early Dismissal - 11:50
(lunch will be served)
Summer Reading Program
The Timberland Public Library is having its annual
summer reading program. This program provides students a
chance to read and maintain their skills over the summer.
For the last three years, A. J. West has had the most
students sign up for the program. We want to see our
school’s name engraved on the trophy again. Please take
your child to the library to sign up. Then read, read, read
this summer. There is more information on the back of this
newsletter.

This is the last newsletter of the year. On behalf of our
entire staff at A. J. West, I want to thank you for
entrusting your children to us. We have a very caring staff
who truly love your children and want them to be successful
not only while at A. J. West but for their entire
life.

firmly believe the staff follows our motto every day -
