1. May's Positive Learning Trait - The positive learning trait for May is determination. Determination is defined and demonstrated in the following ways: setting goals, making sure the goals are right, ignoring distractions, not being discouraged by others and facing problems head on.
2. Kindergarten and Preschool Registration - To register a child for preschool/kindergarten, parents or legal guardian need to bring immunization records and a birth certificate. To be eligible for preschool, children must be four years old on or before August 31. To be eligible for kindergarten, children must be five years old on or before August 31.
3. PTO Meeting – The May 27 meeting will be held at 7:00 in the Library.
4. Early Release Day – Friday, June 6th is Early Release at 11:50.
5. Grandparents Day – Grandparents Day is May 15. Please return your reservations for lunch by Friday, May 9.
6. Respect for All – May has been designated by the Aberdeen School District as Respect for All month. This month activities will focus around respecting all persons regardless of their differences in |
compared to us. This month has been designed by the Aberdeen School District Diversity Committee.
