Carnegie Medal - The Carnegie Medal honors the producer of the most outstanding video production for children released during the previous year.
Young Readers Choice Award - The Young Reader's Choice Award (YRCA), sponsored by the Pacific Northwest Library Association (PNLA), is the oldest children's choice award in the United States and Canada and the only the regional award chosen by children of two countries. The suggestion for the award originated with a Seattle bookseller, Harry Hartman.
Coretta Scott King Award - The Coretta Scott King Award is presented annually by the Coretta Scott King Task Force of the American Library Association's Ethnic Multicultural Information Exchange Round Table ( EMIERT). Recipients are authors and illustrators of African descent whose distinguished books promote an understanding and appreciation of the "American Dream."

Wilder Medal - The Wilder Medal honors an author or illustrator whose books, published in the United States, have made, over a period of years, a substantial and lasting contribution to literature for children.
Batchelder Award - The Batchelder Award is awarded to an American publisher for a children's book considered to be the most outstanding of those books originally published in a foreign language in a foreign country, and subsequently translated into English and published in the United States.
Belpré Award - The Belpre Medals honor a Latino/Latina writer and illustrator whose works best portray, affirm, and celebrate the Latino cultural experience in an outstanding work of literature for children and youth.
Sibert Informational Book Medal - The Sibert Medal honors the author of the most distinguished informational book published during the preceding year.
Sasquatch Reading Award - The Sasquatch reading Award is chosen annually by elementary students in Washington State, through their library media specialist.
Washington Children's Choice Picture Book Award - The Washington Children's Choice Award is selected annually by K-3 students in Washington State. All K-3 students may vote on this award, through their library media specialist.
