All the kids in our school got to write on the walls. Here are some first grader's pictures of McDermoth School.

The end of our 1996-1997 school year was very exciting as we said goodbye to McDermoth School for a year. It was sad, too. But we will have lots of reasons to celebrate when we move back in to newly remodeled classrooms.

In the gym, one whole wall said, "Goodbye McDermoth." Teachers and students wrote messages to our school. The messages said things like, "We'll miss you!" and "See you in a year."

The teachers had to box up everything in their classrooms. Their boxes filled the hallways. Some of them were very heavy--full of dictionaries and books.
