QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Valid Washington State Secondary teaching certificate.

2. Interest in Educational Administration or related field preferred.

3. Effective human relations and communications skills with students, parents, staff and community.

4. Minimum five years successful teaching experience.

5. Knowledge and skills in application of current research in curriculum, instruction and technology.

6. Knowledge of student assessment.

7. Successful experience with student management/discipline.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Administer student management and discipline program, including the in-school suspension program.

2. Administer student attendance program.

3. Administer the school safety program

4. Oversee Associated Student Body (ASB) activities and budget.

5. Oversee student activities and sports programs to include evaluation of coaches.

6. Participate in school or district activities, meetings, and conferences as required.

7. Maintain required reports and records.

8. Effectively communicate with staff, students, parents, and community.

9. Work cooperatively with staff, administrators, parents, and students.

SALARY: 2008-09 Teacher Salary Schedule, plus supplemental contract for extra days.

START DATE: 2008-09 School Year.
