The Hopkins Building, built in 1956, was originally designed as a Junior High School. Today, it continues as a vibrant center of learning for children and families in the Aberdeen School District. Through the years the building has been used for a variety of programs within the school district. Now it is home to:
- Early Childhood Evaluation Center
- Three developmental preschool classrooms
- One four-year-old open preschool classroom
- Snug Harbor Child Care
- Early Childhood Education Assistance Program (ECEAP)
- Even Start Family Literacy program
- COPE Teen Parent Program
- Harbor High School
