Welcome to the Levy, Bond and Tax Information page. Information on this site will help explain the processes school districts use to help fund many of their programs for students. State and federal funding do not fully support the programming in our district. Therefore, local levies are requested of the community to collect funds to keep these valuable programs in place for our students.
The Aberdeen School District typically runs a replacement Maintenance & Operations (M&O) Levy every two years. Levy elections are held the year prior to collection. For example, the February 14, 2012, M&O Levy will replace the expiring 2011 and 2012 levy and will be for collection in 2013 and 2014.
