This week Ms. Good and her husband Jim spoiled all of the teachers by hosting the staff to homemade goodies in the staff room on Monday.  The student musicians played well all week during their concerts, led by their awesome teachers.  AVID hosted a HAT Week.  Students could pay a dollar amount to AVID and wear their favorite holiday hat.  All hat proceeds went to the Friendship House for a total of $229.25. The Life Skills class hosted a luncheon that they all took great pride in preparing, making the table settings, seating people and serving.  Wonderful work Mr. Borgens and the staff who work with our Life Skill students.  We finally caught up to Ms. Durr's class, who won the top class for donating food to Foodball, and the ASB brought them Pizza for their excellent work.  The Miller teachers spent a morning this week pouring over iPad Applications, so that the iMiller team could move forward implementing iPads for all our 7th/8th graders. Finally, Principal Decker introduced the Friday Lunch crowd to Human Bingo, a type of "Mix It Up" activity that seemed to go over well with the students, as they wandered from table to table to learn more about each other (see the photo of the Human Bingo card in the photo slide show below.  Katie McGregor won the drawing from Human Bingo that included $10, a Miller Window Cling, a GEAR UP water bottle, a book, some chocolates and a festive holiday hat.  Also, a few pictures from our parents of our 7th Grade Girls Basketball team (white vs. blue) playing each other.
