Mrs. Veronika Graham
Greetings! I'm Veronika Graham and I'm a second career educator. I spent the first part of my life working in the printing and tech industries. I have three children of my own, Ian, Lily, and Fox (ages 13, 12, and 10). I became a stay at home mom after the birth of my oldest. As a stay at home mom, I volunteered 4 days a week at my children's elementary school. I was also the PTA Outreach and Advocacy Chair for 4 years. Also, while a stay at home mom, I started the Valley Power Packs program, which provided weekend meals for kids facing food insecurity in the Riverview School District. I also spent 2 and a half years as a Planning Commissioner for the city of Duvall, and was then appointed to City Council when a vacancy arose. I grew up in Southern California, but moved to Washington in 2007. In 2017 I decided to return to school to fulfill my lifelong dream of becoming a teacher. I attended Western Governor's University and graduated with a K-8 Interdisciplinary Studies degree in July of 2020. During the 2020-2021 school year I was a substitute teacher for the Tumwater, Oakville, and Tenino School Districts. I'm so excited to be a part of the Miller Junior High School family! I look forward to becoming a part of this community!
In my free time I love gaming, reading, baking, and traveling.
