    No School Monday, February 17 and Tuesday, February 18

    There will be no school Monday, February 17 in observance of Presidents Day.  There will be no school Tuesday, February 18 as that is a training day for district staff. 

    Fourth and Fifth Grade Music Program is February 25

    The A.J. West vocal music program for grades 4 and 5 will be Tuesday, February 25 at 6:30 PM at Aberdeen High School in the auditorium.  All are invited to attend. 

    Student of The Month/Super Sneaker Assembly is Friday, February 28

    A.J. West’s Student of the Month/Super Sneaker assembly is Friday, February 28 at 9:00 AM.  All are invited to attend.


    No After-School Program on Thursday, February 13

    There will be no after-school program Thursday, February 13 due to staff training events.


    HIV/AIDS Parent Night is Tonight at Stewart Building

    The parent preview for HIV/AIDS curriculum for 5th and 6th grades will be tonight, Wednesday, February 12 at 5:30 PM.  It will be held at the Stewart Building at 900 Cleveland Street in Aberdeen, next to Stewart Field.


    Please Check Our Lost and Found

    Parents, our lost and found table is beginning to grow again.  Please remind students to check the lost and found for coats, backpacks, etc.  Our lost and found is located just inside the front doors of our lobby if you would like to check for your child’s lost items.

    With the winter weather upon us, it is important for parents to be able to get up-to-date information regarding school closures.  If you have not yet signed up for the FlashAlert system, you may do so by going to  www.flashalert.net and signing up for text and/or email messages regarding school closures and other alerts.  School closures and delays are also announced on local radio and television stations.
