    Hi, my name is Mr. Cole. I am a 4th grade teacher at A.J. West. I started teaching in Aberdeen in 1989.
    I have always enjoyed working with children, and I know that every child who enters my classroom will take with them something that is of value to their becoming a productive adult. I grew up in the small farming community of Heppner, Oregon. I received an A.S. degree from Linn Benton Community College, a B.A. from Eastern Oregon University, and a Masters from Lesley College in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I enjoy spending time with my family and being active in hunting, biking, playing games, and camping.
    I am looking forward to the new school year and to getting to know each individual child in my care.
