Welcome to the Hopkins Early Learning Center. We are the hub for the Aberdeen School District preschool program. In addition to our 5 classrooms at Hopkins, we also have preschool classrooms at Stevens and Central Park. I am so lucky to work with a wonderful and caring staff. I also love working with children of all ages, but especially enjoy the little ones. That must be why I ended up in preschool. This is my 27th year working for the Aberdeen School District and I have been an occupational therapist for 29 years. I graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor's of Science in Occupational Therapy and then earned my Master's Degree in Education through Gonzaga University. I have 2 grown children of my own. Drake graduated from the University of Washington and works at a pediatric mental health clinic in Shoreline, WA. Teal is studying at Washington State University. I live at home with my husband, Andy, and my house is full of pets. In my spare time I enjoy reading, doing puzzles, running, going for walks on the beach, traveling, and spending time with my family. I aso continue to work as an occupational therapist providing early intervention services through South Sound Parent 2 Parent.
