How long have you been working at Hopkins and how long in education?

I have been at Hopkins since 1996 and working in education for 27 years.

Where did you grow up and how long have you lived in this area?

I grew up in Hoquiam and have lived in the area for 57 years.

Who was your favorite teacher and why?

David Wayman was the best and most caring teacher.

What do you enjoy about working with preschoolers and their families?

I love watching preschoolers grow and change throughout the year and think "wow, we do make a difference."

What do you do when you are not at school?

I spend time with my husband and grandsons.  I also play bingo, ski, and kayak.

What is something that never fails to make you laugh or smile?

Hearing a child laugh.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

To give every person in the world a place of security and love, like I have had in my life.
