Hello Families:
We wanted to check in and make sure you are all doing well. This is a time when many families are in need of support ... food, activities to keep children/families engaged, financial resources or questions due current work restrictions, etc. Please touch base with me or Toni with your questions and we will support you in any way we can.
A few parents have asked if students need to return any of the materials in the packet that were sent home - Absolutely not. Everything in the packet is for you to keep and use. If you want to take pictures of your child reading the book or with him/her holding their finished project, we would love to see their completed masterpiece!
Hopkins Preschool has formed a Facebook page. We are posting many useful links and activities that you will find helpful. All links mentioned in this letter can also be found on the Facebook sight. Watch soon for a video of Ms. Michelle reading a story.

I have attached a resource below with reading, number, movement, and art ideas. Once an activity is complete, your child can color in the square. There are lots of fun activities to do together. Also, the Scholastic book website has many books you and your child can enjoy together and it is free! Here is the link below.
If you're not too tired of "Baby Shark," YouTube has a baby shark hand washing song by PinkFong that is very cute. Also, Jack Hartman sings a song that helps kids learn alternative ways to say hello, while practicing social distancing. Here are the links. Have fun!

"Buzz," the Hopkins Honeybee, will be checking in with the kiddos to see what your child has been doing at his/her hive!
Stay home, stay healthy and wash your hands. :)
