Dear Students and Families,
Hello and thank you for visiting the Counseling Corner website! I hope you find this website helpful in learning what I do and how as a School Counselor I provide support to students, staff and parents here at AJ West.
As your School Counselor, I hold a Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in counseling, a Masters of Education in School Counseling, training in suicide prevention and I have received my National Board Certification for School Counseling.
I have been working for the Aberdeen School District and a resident of Grays Harbor for the last 16 years. I have a seven-year-old daughter, Emma. She is full of personality and definitely keeps me on my toes! Spending time with her and watching her discover and learn new things is one of my greatest joys!
Another member of our family is our new puppy Maple. Maple is a 4 month old black lab. She is a big cuddler and a lot of energy! She is amazing with Emma and they love to play together!
In my spare time I enjoy walking with Emma and Maple, reading, traveling, finding fun new local spots to visit and spending time with friends and family!
I am very excited to start my 16th year working with the wonderful students and families of the Aberdeen School District! This year, I am full time at AJ West. I am available to meet before and after school with parents. My office hours are 8:00am-3:00pm.
