Welcome to 4th grade! This year we will have so much fun! We will become better mathematicians and readers. We will learn about our local environmental science. We will use Chromebooks as our technology tool and many apps for additional practice. We'll also create art...lots of art. And, of course, we'll read, read, and read some more!! But, most importantly, we'll become a great team of learners and help each other to be the best we can be! Go Vikiings!
I have been teaching for 19 years at Robert Gray Elementary. I graduated from Grays Harbor College and Washington State University with my BA and teaching certificate. I earned my Master's from Lesley University. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher.
I am married to Pete, and we have two children. My daughter, Jewels, is a graduate of Western Washington University; my son, John, is a graduate of Washington State University. Both of them live and work in Seattle. I try to visit them as often as possible. My husband has a cool hot rod, and we go riding in the summer. I love bike riding, sewing, and reading. My family calls me a book nerd. It's not a bad title.
