The KAHS first hit the airwaves August 25th, 2004 and has been playing non-stop ever since. So tune in, turn up and DON’T drop out with the KAHS!!!
Where can you find the best in alternative and local music? Look no further than 106.5 FM on your dial.We are Aberdeen High School's radio station; the only high school station in the area where we broadcast throughout Aberdeen and outlying areas.
Years ago David McKay had a vision, to provide an opportunity for students to work in the radio broadcasting industry. David realized that the communication and technical skills learned in the class would transcend into other areas of this business world while at the same time providing the students with a sense of pride for accomplishing what few would ever have the opportunity to experience.
David McKay's untimely passing did not stop the ball that he started rolling. Many in the community and the staff worked hard to make David's dream a reality. All of this has been made possible by the students. From day one they were commited to making the dream not only come alive, but to succeed!
In Memory of David McKay
