Child Find Developmental Screenings
The Aberdeen School District is responsible for locating, evaluating, and identifying all students with any suspected disability (including students who attend private schools) who live within the boundaries of the Aberdeen School District, and who are not currently receiving special education and related services. Any child with a disability, from birth thru age 21, may be eligible.
Children 3-5 years of age are screened through the Assessment Center. Childfind screenings are offered several times per year. Please call the Assessment Center to make an appointment.
Dates available monthly.
If your child is under the age of three, please contact South Sound Parent to Parent for information regarding the Early Supports for Infants and Toddlers (EIST) program, 360-352-1126.
Students that are kindergarten age through 21 should contact their neighborhood school or the Special Services Department, 360-538-2018.
