The Year End report (F-196) summarized the expenditures and revenues of the school district.  Every school district in the state is required to file the report with OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction).  The report is then used in conjunction with the Notes to the Financial Statements of the district by the Washington State Auditor's office to audit the school district.  Please see the additional informational link Fiscal Year End presentation

The Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction has added the requirement that districts disclose the amount of Materials, Supplies and Operating Costs (MSOC's) that are being spend from Program 01- Basic Education and Program 97- General Support.  If the amoutns for those expenditures exceeds the funding from the state, it is requred that the district disclose the funding source fro those programs.  The Aberdeen School District uses local funds (Levy) to supplement the funding from the state.

On August 15th, 2017 there will be a Public Hearing at the regular Board meeting regarding the 2017-18 budget.  The documents attached reflect the discussion points addressed in the Budget Workshop that took place on July 31, 2017. 

On July 31, 2017 at 5:00 pm, the Board of Directors at Aberdeen School District met to have a Budget Work Session.  Please see the Presentation for additional information.  The Budget that will be presented for Board approval on August 15th will be a balanced budget, per Board discussion.
