Move to the Common Core Standards

The Aberdeen School District has begun the move to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS). Beginning in the 2014-15 school year, students will be administered Smarter Balanced Assessments in Mathematics and English Language Arts (ELA), which are aligned to the CCSS.  The CCSS have been adopted by over 40 states.
