Justin WalkerEmail: jwalker@asd5.orgPhone: (360) 538-2130Homeroom: Room 153rd GradeBorn and raised in the Pacific Northwest, the forests, rivers, lakes, and mountains are, and always will be, my home. I enjoy spending time in every environment this wonderful region has to offer and have found a wonderfully fulfilling connection with the mesmerizing landscape it provides. I delight in spending time with my kids, creating music, and playing disc golf. My passion for life-long learning has propelled me into teaching from the very day in high school when I found myself enraptured by my U.S. History course to today at A.J. West Elementary.I began my educational career with spending a year as the office manager of a small private school after which I taught Kindergarten and 1st Grade. I then taught nutrition education to pre-K through 8th Grade students for Oregon State University Extension Service. With the goal in mind to join the public school system, I attended Portland State University to obtain my Masters of Education and complete their Graduate Teacher Education Program. Now entering my fourth year here in Aberdeen, I love being a member of the A.J. West family.
