Child Find Developmental Screenings
-
The Aberdeen School District is responsible for locating, evaluating, and identifying all students with any suspected disability (including students who attend private schools) who live within the boundaries of the Aberdeen School District, and who are not currently receiving special education and related services. Any child with a disability, from birth through age 21, may be eligible.
Children 3-5 years of age are screened at the Hopkins Early Learning Center. Childfind screenings are offered several times per year. Please call the preschool office at (360)538-2190 to make an appointment.
If your child is under the age of three, please contact South Sound Parent to Parent for information regarding the Early Supports for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) program, 360-352-1126.
Students that are in kindergarten through 21 years old should contact their neighborhood school or the Special Services Department, 360-538-2018.
