I have been a student and teacher in the Aberdeen School District for most of my life. I attended McDermoth Elementary, Miller Junior High, and Aberdeen High School. Since 2006, I have taught at Aberdeen High School. My favorite classes to teach are 2-D Art classes.
I graduated from Western Washington University in 2005 with a degree in Art Education. I enjoy traveling, and was able to complete my student teaching at the International School of Panama in Panama City, Panama. I went back to school and earned my Master's Degree in Instructional Design in 2016. I also hold CTE Certification as well.
My family is very important to me. I have a husband named David and a little boy named Hobie.
