Dear Students and Families,
Hello and thank you for visiting the Counseling Corner website! I hope you find this website helpful in learning what I do and how as a School Counselor I provide support to students, staff and parents here at AJ West.
As your School Counselor, I hold a Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in counseling, a Masters of Education in School Counseling, training in suicide prevention and I have received my National Board Certification for School Counseling.
I have been working for the Aberdeen School District and a resident of Grays Harbor for the last 15 years. I have a six year old daughter, Emma. She is full of personality and definitely keeps me on my toes! Spending time with her and watching her discover and learn new things is one of my greatest joys!
Another member of our family is our dog Isabelle. Issy is an 11 year old black lab, a little gray, but is still a big puppy! She is amazing with Emma and they love to play together!
In my spare time I enjoy walking with Emma and Isabelle, reading, traveling, finding fun new local spots to visit and spending time with friends and family!
I am very excited to start my 15th year working with the wonderful students and families of the Aberdeen School District! This year, I will be full time at AJ West. I am available to meet before and after school with parents by appointment via zoom.
