My name is Eric Jackson and this is my first year teaching at Aberdeen High School. I have a BA in Digital Technology and Culture from Washington State University: Vancouver. I have been a creative director for my own local creative consulting company, alder|creative, for more than 8 years working with small to medium sized businesses and non-profits making websites, promotional videos and graphic design pieces to support others in delivering their messages. Along with teaching and alder|creative, my wife and I make hand pies that are delivered to your door and she also makes custom tee shirt quilts. So... three businesses currently.

I am an alum of Aberdeen High School and enjoy bringing my story and expertise to students who will make a difference in our community and beyond. I think that local entrepreneurs can deliver on our communities' needs better and believe that successful future local business owners are here at AHS.
