  • Mr. Mills is a music educator who returns to his hometown after many years away. Originally from Aberdeen, Washington, Mr. Mills returns to give back the gift of music to the students of Miller Jr. High. 

    Mr. Mills started music in 5th grade at Stevens Elementary and continued through Jr. High and High School in Aberdeen. He has performed as a percussionist, actor, and singer with the Grays Harbor College Music and Theatre Department. Mr. Mills has also performed with the driftwood players, 7th street kids, the Grays Harbor Symphony Orchestra, the Skagit Valley Chorale, and the Whatcom Wind Ensemble. Today, he teaches private percussion lessons through Grays Harbor College and performs with the Grays Harbor Symphony Orchestra.

    He holds an Associate of Arts degree from Grays Harbor College as well as a Bachelor of Music in Education from Western Washington University with an endorsement in P-12 instrumental music. Starting in the summer of 2023 Mr. Mills will be working toward a Masters Degree through American Band College. During Mr. Mills' time at WWU he was named principal percussionist for the department and was selected as winner of the annual Concerto Competition with the WWU Symphony Orchestra.
