My name is Lori Snyder. I have been teaching for over 30 years in many different places.
I graduated from Eastern Washington University in 1984 with my bachelor's degree in Education. In 2010 I completed my Master's in Instructional Media.
I have spent most of my teaching career in the upper elementary grades. My first teaching job was in Northern Idaho. From there, I went to Nanae, Japan and taught at a boarding school for a little over 2 years. When I returned, I got my first job in Aberdeen at A. J. West Elementary. I went to Bulgaria for 3 years to do humanitarian work and teach English. After that, I returned to Aberdeen and after a year working in the Technology Department as an Integration Specialist, I took a position at McDermoth and was there for 18 years. I'm excited now to begin a new chapter at Miller teaching 7th grade Math and Science and an AVID Elective.
As you can tell, I love to travel! I will celebrate 7 years with my husband this year. I do enjoy having a traveling companion all the time now!
    Here's to a great year!
