I am in my 24th year of teaching for the Aberdeen School District. I graduated from Ocosta Senior High School then went off to Shoreline Community College in North Seattle to play volleyball and further my education. I graduated from Shoreline Community College with an AA and AAS degree. I then continued my education at St. Martin's University where I received my BA degree and teacher certification. As I have been teaching, I have continued to further my education by becoming a National Board Certified Teacher. This year I will be teaching 3rd Grade. For the last 23 years I have taught at Alexander Young Elementary (formerly on Cherry Street in Aberdeen) and Stevens Elementary. I have mainly taught 5th and 6th grades. . In my spare time I enjoy reading, running, hiking, and spending time with my family: Lonny, Kennedy and Kaila.
