• About Our School District
     
    The Aberdeen School District has a student population of approximately 3300 students in pre-school through grade twelve. The staff includes over 450 qualified and experienced certificated and classified individuals who are committed to providing the best educational opportunities to a diverse student population. The school district has five elementary schools, one junior high, one traditional high school, and one alternative high school. Voters in the Aberdeen community have a long history of supporting school levies and bonds.

    Aberdeen is located in Washington state, 45 miles west of the state capital, Olympia, near the Pacific Ocean. With a population of 16,500, Aberdeen is the retail center of Grays Harbor County. Its rural setting offers affordable housing, easy commutes, a variety of retail shops and a good environment for families. Residents enjoy many year-round recreational activities including kayaking, hiking, clam digging, hunting, fishing, golfing, sailing and surfing.
