McDermoth Elementary

Welcome to 5^th Grade! 

I am a Montesano native and still live there with my three kids.  I graduated from Montesano High School, Grays Harbor College and then Washington State University in 2003. I spent the next ten years substitute teaching while raising my own children.  In 2019 I completed my Master of Education degree from Concordia University with a focus on Environmental Education.

I have been teaching at McDermoth since 2014.  I taught fourth grade for several years and loved it, but jumped at the opportunity to move up to fifth grade!  I love watching students learn about all the concepts and topics 5^th grade covers, and helping them prepare for their transition to Miller.
