• Collaboration Time

Collaborative Learning Time (CLT) for teachers is designed provide an extended block of time to work together to share, dialog, and discuss research-based best instructional practices in order to meet the changing needs of education in our district and state.

CLT is teacher-centered with administrative guidance to focus on our mission and goals.  CLT consists of learning about instructional practices that result in improved student learning; reviewing and analyzing data to enhance instruction; and coordinating curriculum to align to the Common Core standards and the new Smarter-Balanced assessment where appropriate.

A list of CLT ideas is available on this website and will continue to grow with teacher and administrative input.  For more information and guidance on CLT, please review the bargained language in the AEA Collective Bargaining Agreement, Section 7.4.12.
