Visitor Guidelines
Security Fencing and Single Point of Entry
The Aberdeen School District uses security fencing to help create a safe boundary around its schools. School access will be limited to a single point of entry during the school day.
In most cases when entering a school builidng you will be buzzed in at the main entrance. Upon entering the building please meet with the main office staff to be checked in to the visitor mangement system for a visitor's pass.
Visitor passes should be displayed at all time while on the school property. At the end of your visit, return to the office to check out and return your pass.
Visitor Management System
The Aberdeen School District uses Navigate360 Visitor Management to keep track of who is in the building at all times. This is an important tool to keep students and staff safe.
Visitors are required to sign in, present a valid ID, and state their purpose for being on campus. Visitor passes should be displayed at all time while on the school property. At the end of your visit, return to the office to check out and return your pass.
About Navigate360
This system scans the visitor's name, date of birth, partial license/ID number and photo for comparison with a national database of registered sex offenders. The registered sex offender database is the only official database checked by the Navigate360 system. Once the entry is approved, Navigate360 will issue a badge that identifies the visitor, the date, and the purpose of his/her visit.
