Facilities & Rental Updates for 2025-2027

Beginning January 1st, 2026, the District will implement an increase in rental fees for the use of school facilities. This adjustment is necessary to offset rising costs in utilities, custodial services, and general maintenance required to keep our facilities safe, clean and accessible for all. These rates will be spread over a two year period, 2025-26 School Year and 2026-27 School Year.

Key Details:

1. Updated fee schedules and timelines by facility and user category will be available on our district website. 
2. Categories A and B (district and youth-serving organizations) will continue to receive the lowest rates, with fees primarily applied when additional staffing or cleaning is required.
3. Categories C and D (non-district, nonprofit and commercial users) will see revised rates that reflect the current costs of operation and maintenance. 
4. All groups may incur additional custodial charges when events extend beyond normal school hours. 

Reservation Request Deadlines: 

To ensure adequate staffing and scheduling, please submit your facility requests for all athletic facilities (Stewart Field, Sam Benn Gym, AHS Aux Gym, etc) no later than 14 days prior to your event. 

We encourage you to plan early to secure your preferred dates. Requests received after these deadlines may not be accommodated. Please reach out to Doug Farmer at dfarmer@asd5.org to schedule these locations.
