    Mrs. Hoehn, Assistant Principal

    Welcome to Miller Junior High!

It is with excitement that I am able to serve the students, parents, and staff at Miller Junior High.  My past experiences include instruction for students from birth to college: Parent Educator, Title I/LAP Director, Special Education Director, Reading Coach, Curriculum, and Instruction Director, and six years as an Elementary Principal.  After graduating from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, I completed my Masters in Education Administration at William Woods University, Fulton, Missouri and have continued my education at Seattle Pacific University, Seattle, Washington.  I am pleased to work with Principal Griebel and join the Miller team to positively impact each student’s school experience and their educational performance.

It is my goal is to support students and their families through the middle school journey and beyond.  Together, with parents, staff and community support, we will guide their goals to fruition with a visible, completed, positive goal through challenging work.  I will be a role model for your students and I will be here for them.  In order to achieve this success, it is important that we develop a positive working relationship with open lines of communication.  I welcome phone calls (360-538-2104) or emails (jhoehn@asd5.org) from not only parents and staff, but community members as well.

Please become familiar with the Miller JH expectations in the handbook, as we will be working together so that your child becomes a better school and community citizen.

I am honored and humbled to be a part of, not only Miller Junior High but the Aberdeen School District and this community.  I look forward to you stopping in to say hello.  My door is always open.  If there is anything I can assist you with, please contact me.  I look forward to serving staff, families, and students this year.
