Thursday Student Bulletin, March 5, 2020

This is the morning bulletin for Thursday, March 5, 2020. 

Please welcome our guest teachers today: 

Mrs Lawson, Mrs Bates, Mrs Litzey-Adams, Mrs Barene, Mrs Seguin, Mrs Disol, Mr Galeana-Ramirez, and Mrs Layng

The kitchen will be serving Chicken Fettucini, Caesar Salad, Fruit and Milk

Both 7th and 8th grade white teams won their game last night!  Both teams are 2-0. Great job girls!!

JV 7th and 8th white and JV 7th Blue have an optional practice tomorrow from 2:45-3:45

There is early release at 11am tomorrow. There is no school for students next Monday and Tuesday March 9th and 10th for Student Led Conferences

There is no after school program next week.

Attention World Class Scholar Scholarship Students:It’s that time of the year when all your community hours are due to be turned in. Make sure that you have all 5 hours of community service finished and signed off on the WCS Community Service paper. This can be turned in to the World Class Scholar boxes in the office. In April, the End of the Year Paperwork will be available and due to be turned in at the end of May.You must complete this each year, along with your community service hours to qualify for the scholarship. If you have any questions, please contact your parent tracker for your class. Their names can be found on the World Class Scholar boxes in the office. 

Aberdeen High School CHEER tryouts are coming up!  There is a mandatory parent meeting in the commons at the high school March 18th at 6:30. 8th graders that are interested in becoming a Bobcat Cheerleader, please pick up a tryout packet in Mrs Stovers office before school at lunch or after school.

Reminder for 6th and 7th graders...You need to keep your backpacks in your lockers.

Make sure you clean out your lockers before student led conferences.

If you have any paperwork or money to turn in to Mrs Stover, please do so  before school, at lunch or after school.

WE CAN BE HEROES! ANYONE INTERESTED IN JOINING THE GAY/STRAIGHT ALLIANCE, THERE WILL BE AN INFORMATIONAL MEETING EVERY FRIDAY MORNING IN MARCH IN ROOM 208. ALL ARE WELCOME.

Are you interested in a summer job?  Ecology Youth Corps will be hiring students for summer work.  You must be 14 years old and fill out an online application. They will be accepting applications between Feb 3 through April 10.  Please see Mr Williams in the office for more information.
