Lifetouch Cohort Group B Photos before noon; For in person learning, you will be called out of your History/Social Studies Class so whichever day you have History/Social Studies, that will be the day you have pictures

April 2 At the end of the day on April 2nd, Cohort B students will be given 10 meals for Spring Break. Please make a plan to be able to get the meals home. (There will be 3-4 bags of food) For Cohort A Students, you will need to go to a meal site on April 2nd to pick up your meals.

GREAT NEWS! After Spring Break on April 12th, Students can return 4 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) Three feet social distancing in classrooms and 6 feet everywhere else!

Distance Learning Students
Your final curriculum and supply handout for the year is ready for pick up. Our office hours are 7:30am to 3:30pm. Please wear a mask and make sure you are social distancing! We will be handing them out at the front office window.

Have you gotten your first $25 gift card yet? If you are a student coming to in person learning, please email the principal, lgriebel@asd5.org, if you have not gotten your first gift card. Please include your advisory teacher so we can come find you!
Distance Learning? You can come to the office window during office hours starting on Monday, March 1st to sign for your gift card! (Arrival and Dismissal times are busy here so please try to avoid those times.)
Extended Learning Program Opportunity for 6th and 7th graders July 6th-August 13th
It’s a 5-week summer session to prepare students for the upcoming school year. The program will offer arts, STEM, English, Math, and PNW classes. Students will be able to take two classes per day. Please go to our MJH website under Great Things @ Miller for more information.

Attention 7th and 8th Graders!!
Would you like to have most of your college paid for? If so, you may qualify for the College Bound Scholarship. It is an easy process to find out if you qualify and/or sign up. You can go to this link here to get more information/sign up or contact Mr. Williams (6th/8th Grade Counselor) about it: thwilliams@asd5.org
Attention 8th Grade Parents! Please be on the lookout for a letter from the College Bound Scholarship. If you receive this letter, it means your daughter/son qualifies for the College Bound Scholarship which will pay for most, if not all, of their tuition at any Washington state college, university, community college or post secondary school. Students need to graduate with a C (2.0 GPA) and have no felony arrests to receive the scholarship. Any questions, contact Mr. Williams: 538-2100 ext 5008/thwilliams@asd5.org.
Attention World Class Scholar Scholarship Students:
The 2021 End of the Year Paperwork for 7th-11th grades is now available on the Aberdeen School District website and hard copies can be found in the Miller Junior High office. Your 5 hours of community service and the End of the Year Paperwork are to be turned in by the end of May. You can turn the paperwork into the MJH office or contact your WCS parent tracker to find out how to get it to them directly. The after school program at Miller is still open! We still have room to welcome students. You will have access to expert teacher help for academic hour from 2:30 to 3:30 every day. Then, you will be able to join us for the enrichment hour, where we do fun stuff.
